You love your own cats, the neighbor's cats, the wild and stray cats in the neighborhood. If you are anything like me, you love all cats.
You are probably having trouble with one or more of the cats in your world, or your wouldn't have landed at this site.
I want your cat to stay with you, if possible. There are too many unwanted cats, so I'll work with you to help you to keep your cat. There are some cats that just refuse to be helped, but most are happiest with you, their person, and really want to stay with you!
I work with folks via the internet who are having problems with cats. I'm called the "Internet Cat Whisperer". I've been helping folks just like you since 2005. I am not a veterinarian, I'm a cat lover like you. However, I know the signs of dis-ease in cats and will recommend you see your vet if it's warranted.
I'm called a Cat Whisperer because I can usually figure out what your cat is thinking when it does a behavior out of the ordinary.
Whether the issue is urinating outside the box, aggression, attacking, a schizo cat, chewing itself bald, or excessive meowing, this is the place for you!
I have all kinds of tips and tricks that I'll share with you on these pages. There are plenty of training tips for those active and very smart cats in your life. And there is space for you to share your stories, pictures, and remembrances of cats past.
Of course, there is a newsletter you can get once a month, specialty items for cat lovers to give and get, and all manner of helpful products available.
If there's a notice you need to know about, a food or product recall, I post it right away, so you and your cats can be safe. Sign up for the Blog, "RSS Feed" and follow the Diary Of A Cat Whisperer for the latest information.
You don't have to have a lot of money to have a cat. You don't need a lot of space, either. But, you do need a good vet. I don't recommend specific vets, and I respect them all very much. I'll work with you and your vet to keep your cat healthy and happy. I'll help you to find the holistic practitioners in your area (in the US) for alternative treatments, if you are interested. I find that alternative forms of treatment are often more helpful than drugs and invasive tests.
Most of a cat's health revolves around it's diet and lifestyle, so I'll help you identify the areas that can use improvement and help you make your cat's life more healthy and comfortable.
I hope you will poke around, read the stuff that interests you, and maybe try a training technique or two. If you need help, you can contact me, there's a page for that. I do e-mail counseling for a "flat fee." If you find something that you want to try, I hope you will.
And please tell me what you find helpful and what just doesn't work for you. Some products are more hype than substance, and sharing those experiences will help us all.
If your child (or you) want to explore Veterinary Medicine as a career choice, I have a section for that! If you think Vets are overpriced, it's probably because there are so few of them.
