Cat Odor Control Solutions

Whether it's from an animal who left it's mark or your own pet, the odors are offensive. Here are some items you can use to remove the odors that won't make the situation worse. Most are enzymatic, not chemical, solutions. These items will not interact with the urine creating toxic substances. Be sure to read and follow all label directions.

Because this topic is so important and close to every cat owners' heart, the basic instructions are on the website on Urine Odor Control and there are specific instructions available by purchasing an eBook on this topic. The eBook is available free by subscribing to the newsletter.

Nature's Miracle Pet Mess Clean-Up Kit (12oz)This is for use on wet urine messes. It soaks up the urine and starts the de-odorizing process. If you catch the urine while it's still wet, this is a good start.

SCOE10x is a newcomer to this website. I first became aware of it when a cat whispering client found them and was happy with the product. She was kind enough to tell me about it, and I contacted the manufacturer. In short order, we had an arrangement setup whereby you could get their product on this website! This is another "probiotic" type product. However, they ship the concentrate, and you mix with distilled water to activate it. It is shelf-stable for 2 years mixed or unmixed. Not available outside the US at this time. I urge you to give it a try if you have stubborn odors.

KOE Kennel Odor Eliminator (8 oz) For use in enclosed areas. I find this great if I've had several cats in an enclosed area for any length of time. Like, when I rescue a few and have to confine them to my bathroom for a few days. Nothing is worse than the smell of that many cats in such a small area after a week! When I can finally let them have run of the house, I clean my bathroom with this stuff, and my bathroom smells sweet and clean. It makes taking a shower a joy. I heartily suggest some KOE Kennel Odor Eliminator if you have to keep your cats enclosed for any length of time.
