Seasonal Savings and Ideas November 26, 2006 |
Dear ,What's in This Issue:
New and Updated PagesIf you aren't subscribed to the RSS feed, you can do that by going to the RSS Page. Here is the list:
Cat Calendar UpdateThe entries weren't what I'd hoped, so there won't be a Calendar Contest this year. I had 8 photos submitted, and didn't get anywhere near the minimum 200 calendar order. The money is already returned. I've kept the photos, and am getting permissions now to put them on the website.Meanwhile, please order your cat calendar from one of the many fine offerings found on the Calendar Page. Featured Products of the MonthThere aren't any featured products this month, because there are so many specials. I'm leaving up the over-the-door climbing center and tapeworm medicine as I said last issue, however. Tell me what you need! I'll get it!Wow! So many Specials!Wow! There are so many specials that they wouldn't all fit in one place. Here are some coupon deals for you, and the specials page is updated, waiting for your shopping pleasure. The page is not named the same as the others, so you will need to use the link.
From Hammecher Schlemmer:
ENTIRELY PETS SEASONAL SPECIALS
The following coupons are due to expire soon or have expired (all expire 1/06/07):
Visiting PetsAt this time of year, we have visiting relatives and friends - and some visiting pets, too! So, how should we deal with this temporary cat or dog? Of course, we need to keep our cats happy and secure, but we want our guests and their pets to feel welcomed, too.So, follow the guidelines for a new pet, introducing and reinforcing. Provide lots of private, bond re-affirming play for our cats. Make sure everyone has a litter box and a clear path to one. It might be a good idea to keep extra pet treats on hand, a few extra tickler wands and some odor control in a spray bottle. I suggest the Microbe-Clean for odor control, and try to always keep a bottle under the kitchen sink. Some calming drops are also a good idea to keep on hand at this time of year. Watch to keep the pets out of the holiday cheer and foods, or your pet may have some digestive upsets. Give each animal some "quiet" time away from all the excitement. Our pets are part of the family, please don't throw a dog out in the cold because it won't get along with the cats - try the garage instead, and provide a soft, warm place to lie down. A bedroom in a quiet part of the house is even better. The visitor won't be with you forever, and the people will be much happier if their pet is included in the festivities as much as possible. Notice: Advice FeeThis is a 15 Day Notice that the Advice fee will be going up in Mid-December. I have to do this because I'm still getting spam. So, if you have a question, or if you have a friend who has a question, now is the time to ask it. After December 15th, it will cost more.
The fee won't be terrible, but it will be more than double ($4.79).
This newsletter is produced for YOU, the reader. Please let me know if you want to see anything in here that hasn't been covered for a while. You can see all the past issues.
