E-mail counseling is active and takes some time. Each issue is addressed separately and some need several email exchanges to figure out the behaviors and work with your cat. The purpose of email counseling is to keep the cat in the home. There are so many cats euthanized because of behavior issues that it breaks my heart. There is Always something to be done! Don't give up.
If you are unsure whether this service is right for you, or you wonder if it's worth the $45 to continue, here is a page of folks who have used the service in the past. Right now the page is short, but there are many folks with positive (or negative) feedback that I just never kept track of till lately. I'll add both positive and negative feedback, so you know what it's like for me - and my clients! I have nothing to hide from you.
I take each request as it comes in, so there might be a few ahead of you. Please allow me 24-48 hours (1-2 days) to respond. I take Saturday and Sunday off. I try to get to each issue as it comes up, within 12 hours, but sometimes it takes till the next day to get to it. If I get behind, I will email everyone on the waiting list (everything as it comes in until I can catch up) and let you know that I've received your request. This has never happened, but I need to have a policy about it.
If I plan on being away from a computer or on vacation, I put it right here, so that you will know when to expect a response before you begin.
My policy on privacy: Your information entered through either the payment gateway or the contact form is private. I won't share unless the government comes at me with a subpoena. I don't sell your information. I won't use your information to sign you up for the newsletter, you will have to sign up on your own. I won't email you a few weeks later to ask you for anything or send you anything. I don't "cookie" your computer to track your usage. Your computer and your privacy are as important to you as mine is to me. You can read the extended Privacy Policy and decide for yourself if you would like to continue.
PayPal Payment Gateway. Your charge for email counseling is $45.00, no matter how involved your issue. You will NEVER be asked for an additional payment. This means that if you have 10 cats and all of them have an issue, you can talk to me until everyone is getting along & using the litter box and not biting you, all for the same price as someone who has a question about how to keep a cat off the counter. I go by client, not by depth. It's just easier than trying to figure out how much time it's taking me or how many e-mail exchanges there are between us.
If there is an extremely urgent or taxing issue, I may make a telephone appointment with you. This is an extremely rare occurrence, but if it happens, it is included. The length of the appointment is not a factor. There is no additional charge for this.
Some cats get better and then get worse. Some cats get better and then do something else later that drives their owners nuts. Each cat is different, and this just seems to be the way things work. Basically, you get access to me from this point forward. If you have previously contacted me, just e-mail, and I'll respond. If it's been over a year, it would be nice to be paid again, but it's an honor system.
BEFORE you begin - If you use an email address that resembles me@rr.state or something like it - STOP!
These addresses often fail. Please go to Yahoo! or Google and set up a free email account and come back here with that address. I also have regular client issues with Hotmail, MSN and even Yahoo! addresses failing.
Many clients have had their Hotmail accounts hacked and I get spam. If I do, I do not answer or click on any links. I do not accept e-cards, either. I also do NOT do LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter from my CatWhispering e-mail account. The account is extra secure and used ONLY for helping my clients.
Be sure that you accept email at the address you enter, and please DOUBLE-CHECK your email address! If you do not receive an acknowledgement in 48 hours, please use the address on the auto-responder and reply. I get those as well. Be sure to click the "back to" link at the bottom of the page at PayPal after you make your payment so that I get your issue in my inbox.
You can pay by credit card, debit card or online check. If you have a PayPal account, you can transfer funds. I use PayPal because you only have to enter information once, and it's extremely secure.
When you complete the payment transaction, you should be automatically re-directed to a page where you can enter your cat issue. If you are unable to complete the process, I do get notification, and I will email you.
Refunds: I will refund once but not twice. If you do not respond or give me the wrong e-mail address, I will do everything I can to connect with you. If I have not heard back from you with the answers to my questions in 5 days, I will refund your money.
Many of my clients become "friends" after such involved counseling and I look forward to updates about the cats. I love photos and emails, and I need that positive feedback - it keeps me going on this...
I have noticed several visitors from countries around the globe that do not have PayPal service in their home country. Go to the mail-in form page instead. It contains a mail-in contact address and prompts you for all the information I need. Please PRINT clearly and be sure you enclose your check or money order in US funds as directed. It is more expensive to use the mail-order service, but all other aspects of the service are the same.
