acts like a dog

I adopted a cat from a rescue house. I had to wait 6 weeks because he had ringworm and was being treated.
I received him at about 3 1/2 months. He chews on everything - paper boxes, me, the other 2 cats in the household. He plays in the cat box and won't let the other cats use the box. If they are in the box he jumps in and starts covering the spot. In fear my older cats jump out and don't use the box. I have 2 boxes in the house but that doesn't seem to help. He jumps on everything - kitchen counter, tables, windows and doesn't seem to get it when I tell him no and put him down. Opens every door he can. I've been very patient with him but he's not getting better.
