Cat Agression

by Kim
(Saint Michae, MN)

Ok, I had 2 cats. They were sisters. They were very close until one became very sick (Coco). Her sister (Chanel) became distant from her then very agressive towards her. Coco did pass away from Liver disease. Her last day, Chanel did love on her and showed affection towards her.

Well, that has been a month now. My boyfriend brought home a little abandoned male kitten. Chanel does not seem to want to take to this kitten. She hisses, crowels, and runs downstairs. I don't know what to do. I know she can be a very loving cat. She is fine when she doesn't see the kitten. We had the kitten in our room last night sleeping and Chanel did sleep by the door most of the night.

I really don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kim Saint Michael, MN
