desperate help with spraying cat

by Karen
(PA)

Nutmeg

Nutmeg

My 1 yr. old male, neutered cat won't stop spraying. Tonight, he sprayed my husband and now he is furious and wants him gone asap.
I'm in tears as I write this. He is such a lover boy of a cat and perfect in every other way. I hate the thought of getting rid of him.
I can't leave him alone in the house, so he is outside most of the time. He doesn't mind, and loves to hunt. But, winter will be here and I couldn't leave him out all night in the freezing weather.
I do have a kennel that I keep him in when it is too hot out and I can't keep an eye on him. He hates it.
I've tried Feliway and it didn't work.
Any advice?

Morgen here- Try the SCOE10x we feature here on the site to deodorize the places he's been.

If he's spraying your husband, he's likely jealous! Use the contact form for specific advice - but let's see what others say....
