Emmy's Gift

by Dotty
(St Augustine Fl)

Well, it started with helping my friend rescue a feral, all black, green eyed, pregnant cat. I agreed only to foster until mama give birth. That's when my life changed.
The mama and I bonded immediately. The kittens was born two weeks later. She had given birth to four, unusually marked male kittens I had ever seen.
Two weeks later, I had to make a trip up north. With no one to care for the mama and babies, I packed them up with everything I thought I would need and set out for a 800 mile trip. Well, this would be the first of many trips together. Early on I knew I had gone from fostering to a permanant fur-family of five.
The kittens given names are Ted, Hank, Rudy, and Little Joe which have become useless now, they look indentical, separated only by their personalities. They now respond to "Boys". My Boys came into my life when I needed something good to happen.
Ms.Emmy (the mama)just purrs when I kiss her on the head, thank her for The Gift!
