i have a pit bull in a cat's body

by JoAnn
(Springfield, MO)

Sambo has been this way most of his life. He hates EVERYONE....except me and his 'old uncle' kitty, who he protects fiercely. He's referred to by everyone who has met him as 'devil cat', 'satan kitty', or the 'pit in disguise'. Nobody can visit my apt without being attacked. Well, except for one person, an ex-boyfriend who gave him to me for Easter about 6 yrs ago.

I've tried everything to no avail. And now if anyone is brave enough to enter, I lock him up in another room. He is very stubborn and hasn't ever been a lap kitty until the past 6 months or so.

But someone was so kind to ask what would happen to my cats if something happened to me?? I was told they'd have to be put to sleep because nobody could take care of them.

Is it too late to socialize Sambo? And how do I go about doing it without risking someone's blood being spilled?

~ Play Therapy, applied first by you, and then by others, may be the way to go. Your visitors enter holding a toy for Sambo. Contact the Cat Whisperer for details - Morgen
