I loved my cat

We had a difficult time a few years ago, my sister got sick and passed a way then a year and a half later so did her 4 year old son. We were all devastated and depressed and people would suggest we get a pet to help us de-stress. So we got 2 tiger kittens, Vlad and Ginger. They would chase each other around the house , so playful and a year later we brought another kitten in the house. They were the three amigo's friends forever. They really did make a huge impact on all of us, brightened our lives.
My cat was Vlad, he was strong and tough but so gentle and when you held him and if he wanted to be let go he would kiss your nose.... the sweet heart. Two days ago, my cat who is deathly afraid of out fall out my sisters window (we are on the first floor) and took off. We looked for him, tried everything and could not find him. I recieved a call today and I was told that they found Vlad, I got so excited , so happy and they said wait! he was hit by a car and I swear my heart hit the floor and my knees gave out on me. I heard nothing as she spoke. So I went out to the animal hospital to see him, my father, mother and boyfriend and as the doctor laid out what happened I knew it wasn't going to end well. As he explained everything there came a knock at the door and Vlad had passed away.
I have been feeling horrible and crying non-stop. He meant the world to me, I used to go to him or him to me when I was upset and now he gone.
