Jack....a Big Soft Lump!

I got Jack when he was 5 weeks old, he had been hand reared and then I took over, Jack died on Wed 10th Oct 2007. I had been away in China and my husband was looking after my two boys (Jack and Henry) they did everything together, like two peas in a pod. On my return on the Sunday night i just knew Jack was not in good form and I so wish I had taken him to the vet. On Wed evening I went out to call him in about 10.00pm as I always lock my boys in at night, right opposite on the pavement I found my boy. There was no marks on him just a clear pool of urine (we think). We think Jack had a heart attack, his wee ears were still perked up, we brought him into the house and snuggled him in blankets and put him in a comfy box to allow Henry time with him. On Thursday we buried Jack in the garden. He was so much a part of this family and my heart is totally breaking with sorrow about him and wee Henry. I am so worried about Henry now, but am doing hopefully all the right things in assuring him. Someone once said to Bill Clinton..."never to grieve is to have never loved" How true. Jack was loved with such a passion, he was my big gentle lump.
