My cat is jealous of my sons

My cat is extremely jealous of my sons. She will attack me very aggressively if she sees that I am spending any time playing with them. She will also attack me if I have to interrupt her sleeping on my lap to help them with something. She will stare right into my eyes and try to bite my face. She never tries to attack my sons or my husband.

This is not acceptable behavior in any sense. Flick her nose or ears. When your sons are old enough to play with her (rolling a ball, the tickler stick) then they can play together. She used to be your baby, and now she's been supplanted by the next generation, and she doesn't like it. She has to grow up and be the big sister. Make her responsible that way. ~Morgen
