My Taiko San - one interesting cat

by Leah
(Modesto, CA USA)

My cat name Taiko. He was born on January 3, 1995 and he just passed away on March 3, 2008 at the age of 13 years and 2 months. Taiko was a 22 pound pure bread seal point siamese. I him got 3 months after my older and smaller cat.

Taiko was loved by everyone because he was not the normal siamese which is being a mean and rude little siamese like in the movie "Lady and the Tramp". I remember many things that he did such as my father-in-law walks by the cabinets and he was on top then Taiko then he was going to hit my father-in-law on the head as he was walking by.

I remember that he would see a baby and would let the baby do most things to him from biting the tail, pulling the tail, lay on him, crew on the ear, nibble the ears, and many other things. I swear that that both of my cats did not mind about what they kids do to them but waited the adults to make sure that the baby won't hurt him verses hurting the baby.

He was a great would eat anything that was sugary, sweet, chicken, and of course eat cat food as well. He would come to me and start eating from my hand when he wanted it.

Everyone that knew my cat was great and many of them wanted to take me cats. I love him and miss him. I am glad that he died in my arms. I first thought he ate something, drank something, the kids may have given him something that was not good, or he got into something. The vet thinks he just died from what I told him about how and what happened.

I was concerned about Tashi so I got him checked and found out that he is great shape. Tashi is trying to stay near one of the family members.

I know that Taiko is in a better place if he could not be with me. Taiko will be missed and loved so much since he was my baby boy.
