Ninja Attcks at the face

by Tara
(Australia)

I got my kitten from a shelter. She was desexed before I took her home - at about 12 weeks of age.

She likes to snuggle up and almost suckle under my neck, and loves cuddles most of the time.

She runs around like a maniac, and loves to play, however, she has become nasty at times, where she will strike at my face with full claws, and teeth.

I'm almost scared of laying on my couch to watch TV as I don't know when the next attack will take place.

I get that she wants to play, but I don't like this kind of play. What can I do to let her know that it isn't a game we like to play?

A squirt bottle, and confining her at certain times of the day may help. She's pushing the boundaries, and you have to be strong. Keep her away from your face at all times. ~Morgen
