Abby Girl sweet baby
This is Abby, my owner.
Abby was 1-2 years old when I saw her at the local shelter in 2000. She had a look on her face like "what am I, the queen, doing in this dump?" she turned to mush in my arms. Had the greenest eye's I'd ever seen on a cat. Her little face heart shaped.
Little did I know her adjustment to a new home would continue for many years. She ate her food at the couch since she stayed under it.
Once she started coming out we played like crazy after work everyday. She was so full of anixiety. When I would walk into the room she would about have a heart attack!
We were meant for each other, I live alone and the house is quiet and I had all the patience in the world with her. She know's she is loved dearly. She follows me around and sit's in the bathroom when I shower. I think she believes I'll get hurt.
She had no claws, and when she first walked on grass it was so funny! When she saw her first lizard it was funny and when she saw the first squirrel I couldn't stop laughing.
She is still jumpy so I crack the backdoor and she goes outside and lays in the grass and can run inside fast if something scares her. She is mostly an inside baby.
This indoor cat! Has brought me several birds, three small snakes and a mouse. So she loves to bring me gifts, even though I have told her I don't need anymore.
She knows the words, din din, outside, bed, brushing and loving's and of course snacks. I yell 'give me some loving's and she runs like crazy, she loves to be chased. At night she runs though the house like a horse. I can tell by the noise if she has a lizard inside and I always try to save It.
She calls me with her sweet meow, rubs against me for loving, but only allows me to hold
Her over my shoulder for a few minutes. She loves to have her back scratched by my
Fingernails.
She shed's something awful, she has to have flea treatment constantly. I brush her numerous
Times a day. I keep swiffer's for the hardwood floors. But I love her with all my heart.
Sometimes I wake up with her sleeping where the husbands pillow is suppose to be. She is my watch cat. If a car drives up she growls and runs under the bed, she doesn't like
Company. Odd thing is she never jumps up on anything. I had trouble getting her up on the couch to play.
She trusts me totally and she loves me for taking care of her and being patient with her ways.
I would tell anyone, if you want a cat or dog, please save a life from your local adoption center.
They will forever pay you back with unconditional love, save a life! They are worth saving.
