the life of sassy

by leah
(PA)

We adopted a tuxedo cat from the SPCA of York County in 2007!

But then one day in 2011 we had to take sassy to a vet that was very far away. Well, the vet said Sassy has tumors every where on her She was also panting when she took a breath of air. So 3months later back at the ASPCA to put miss old Sassy down because her tumors spread all over her and Sassy was suffering with pain!

I'm very sorry to hear this. When you have a cat who develops growths, having a couple removed for pathology can help. It can tell you how fast they will spread. It's always sad to lose a loved one... ~Morgen

i had a cat who had her 3'd litter in 3-7-2004,and all but one got adopted out,we kept this long haired lil fluffy kitten and called her "fluffmuffin"she was the best one of all the 10cats/and 5 kittens i have now..well then this spoiled cat that got all and everything she wanted, started not eating and we did not notice should have because she would eat and go bowl to bowl at one feeding, well she just laid in one of her fav.spots and slept a lot...i wish i knew about the cat health guide-feline heart disease web site, because i had one of the 3 top breeds thats high risks of heart disease, and there is no signs to know they have it.one one would know unless they had a ultra sound done on the heart..and then about every 1 time a month..she was fine at 3am,then at 8 am she was truly getting worse..this is the last stage..the last day i would look in her big loving eyes, and yes i did tell her i love her,and i gave hugs and kisses and talked to her to calm her(she was a very scared cat, even if it rained)i rushed her to another emergency hosp.but at 2pm she passed away.so i had her cremated and have her ashes next to me by my bed,.where i remember she would kiss & hug me, and wrap her arms around my arm and fall asleep with me.my point is people dont look for the signs when every last second was counting...this is to help everyone..pay attention to you pets, what is she whining for,or acting strange??dont just think they want food,or water, they could be saying..I"M SICK HELP!!
